this ancient holistic medical tradition and how its theories can help create a
more healthy and balanced lifestyle. In addition to acupuncture, Amy utilizes
adjunct treatment techniques including Hari Style Acupuncture and others. She
specializes in Women‘s Health issues and Pain Management, but also works with
all general health concerns. In addition, Amy is a practitioner of Virginia Doran’s style of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Amy was drawn to the field of Chinese Medicine because of its strong link to the natural world and the laws that govern it. She believes the Taoist concepts of balance, harmony, and dynamic equilibrium are evident in our own bodies.
However, she acknowledges the benefits of Western medicine and of how these two
medical traditions can work in concert with each other.
Amy is a provider for several health plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Harvard Pilgrim, CIGNA, Tufts, and Fallon Community Health Plans.
